Washed Ashore

Trash washed ashore ends up as artwork in an effort to educate for change.

It has been well documented that microplastics are spreading through our rivers and oceans. Now a group in Oregon is bringing attention to the problem by creating sculptures from the plastic trash that has “Washed Ashore,” which is the name of the organization. A traveling exhibit across the country is making stops in places like the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga.
