State Park Bees

It’s all the buzz around Tennessee State Parks as operations expand to preserve honeybees.

Hi friends… welcome to the Wild Side…I’m Steve Hall….

If the bee disappeared from the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live.”

That’s a quote attributed to a Belgian Poet and Playwright… Count Maurice Maeterlinck… who also wrote that no living creature, not even man, has achieved what the bee has achieved. Those are powerful words we won’t attempt to prove.

But we believe it’s safe to say that bees are important pollinators helping sustain the world’s food supply. So it seems only natural to protect and preserve them. And what better place to do it than in State Parks?
