Wild Side Guide Craig Owensby visited one of Cookeville’s city parks to capture the wide-eyed wonder of youngsters getting their first taste of the outdoors.

Perhaps nothing is more exciting than experiencing for the first time the animals and plants in our natural world. That’s what happened in Cookeville recently, where the fourth annual Nature Fest allowed children to enjoy nature without going far from home. Wild Side Guide Craig Owensby visited one of Cookeville’s city parks to capture the wide-eyed wonder of youngsters getting their first taste of the outdoors.
