We’re setting out before daybreak in search of some early to bed, early to rise gobblers. Strange hours are certainly no challenge for turkey hunters especially if they’re as excited as this group. They are youngsters determined to come face to face with a long beard before the day is done. As Wild Side Guide Bill Cody tells us, one of them is a young lady who was kind enough to let us share her hunting blind.
The turkey hunt took place around Lewis County, Tennessee near the county seat of Hohenwald. For more on that small town, visit www.hohenwaldlewischamber.com/.
