For young hunters the excitement of their first successful hunt is often hard to describe, but always memorable and often life changing. Just ask seventeen year-old Jamin Turner. Jamin entered a drawing at a wild game banquet in Dickson and won a guided turkey hunt with Wild Side Guide Chris Nischan. And even though the methods used were a bit unusual, the results were enough for Jamin to claim his life will never be the same.
If you’re a seasoned hunter, please considering sharing your love for the outdoors by mentoring a young person. Not only does the time spent together form the foundation for a special relationship, as Jamin’s hunting mentor Aaron Baggett told Chris, the joy felt by a young person on a successful hunt is worth more than any words can describe.
