Do you ever get weary from work, tired of making mortgage payments, or paying the rent…cringing from cold weather, or maybe other people crowding your space? Have you dreamed of getting away from it all… permanently… in a place like the Bahamas or Virgin Islands. We know a woman from Tennessee, together with her husband, who decided to go for it… living on the Wild Side… all the time.
We first learned about Emily from our friend, Stephan Foust… a retired television producer and MTSU professor. He has also been featured on Wild Side for his book, A Leaf in the Stream, that chronicles the time he walked coast to coast across America. Emily was one of his students. Maybe some of his spirit for adventure rubbed off on her.
The adventure crews couple is enjoying life… but it’s a full-time job to support it. In addition to their video series on YouTube… they are now inviting others to come sailing with them. And we want to say thank you to Emily and Cole for sharing so much of their video with us to use for this story
