But, if you come with us and some exceptional middle school children to the Huntington exit off Interstate 40, you will see animals you wouldn’t typically expect to encounter.
Southland Safari was built by Tosha’s husband along with a few family members and staff.
If you’re wondering how much food it takes to feed a thousand animals, we are told they go through about seven tons of grain each week plus thirty or forty (65 pound bales) of hay.
