Hi friends… welcome to the Wild Side… I’m Steve Hall..
Show and Tell! That’s basically what we do here in every episode.
And, of course… it’s a popular method of teaching.
We know a teacher in an East Nashville school who uses the technique too help her young students understand historic connections to both reading and outdoor adventure.
While Carrie is busy teaching first graders… Charles is educating the public as award-winning sports editor at The Williamson Herald in Franklin. He also co-hosts The High School Power Hour on WGFX-FM 104.5. Charles and Carrie in past years traveled to Alaska to help his family in their seasonal harvest of Salmon. Sadly, a steep decline in the salmon population has severely limited fishing opportunities for indigenous Alaskans… who have depended on salmon to provide income and to feed their families for many generations.
