Life on the Creeks

Water and land work in harmony to provide our needs… so it seems only natural to celebrate the outdoors with music.

Hi friends… welcome to the Wild Side… I’m Steve Hall

In our family, we call it The Last Frontier…

Cheatham County is just northwest of Nashville touching the Davidson County line.

It’s a place where large tracts of land are being protected, primarily by generations of local families.

And many of those who have lived there longest… call themselves The Creekers. We are told the annual Creeker’s Ball raised over 15-thousand dollars which was donated to charities like “Creeker’s Helping Creekers’,“Frank Jordan Memorial Shop with a Cop,” FOP Lodge 81 and several others.

At the time of the big field party, no one knew just four months later Creekers would be pulling together in an ice storm, that took out their power for several days and left many struggling to get through it.

But Creekers ARE survivors!
