Opinions on deer hunting are often as controversial as the platforms in a political campaign. It’s not unusual for people to take a solid stance one way or the other. But this story puts hunting in a different perspective, no matter what your position. If you’re an avid hunter and supporter or completely opposed to the sport, we invite you to look at it through the eyes of a wounded warrior. Their perspective might just change you…as much as hunting has changed them.
Let’s face it…we all owe our service men and women a debt of gratitude for the sacrifices they make to protect our freedom. If you want to show the wounded warriors how much you appreciate what they’ve done, there are other ways to help. The soldiers say it doesn’t take money or a big organized program, just invite one of them fishing or allow them to hunt on your land.
