Emerald Ash Borer at Warner Parks

The Emerald Ash Borers are trying to take trees at Warner Parks. See what's being done to protect them.

Planting trees and keeping them are two different things. There’s a a Bible verse that says something along the lines of…”When you would do good… evil is present.”

Invasive insects may not exactly be evil… but they sure can destroy a tree. The Warner Parks in Nashville have been around for nearly a century, providing a popular escape for people in the Nashville area. And they’ve got a fight on their hands.

As part of their forest management program… Friends of Warner Park have set a goal of removing all invasive plants by 2027… the year of the park’s 100th anniversary.
