Chimney Swifts

Watch the behavior of dark flying creatures who spend their nights sleeping in an unusual space.

It’s a well known saying in the Clarksville Montgomery County Schools,

“There’s just something about Moore”.

The Moore Magnet School, built in 1952, is one of the premiere educational facilities in the system.

But the STEAM designated school is more than a place for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics… it’s also a resting place.

It is believed that no group in the country banded more chimney swifts than the Tennessee Ornithological Society.
