There’s an estimated 10,000 caves across Tennessee… more than any other state.
Some are open to the public… many more are not.
But in this episode of Wild Side… we have special permission for a quick look at two caves on private property… and the legends that surround them.
Obviously, the caves are on private property and not easily accessible.
But you can visit the historic museums in Springfield and Cross Plains… and also the Kilgore family Cemetery in Cross Plains Park.
Also, Thomas Drugs is a wonderful historic pharmacy and old-fashioned soda fountain if you’re hungry when you go.
