Bledsoe Creek State Park History Trail

Hike back in history to a time when outdoor adventure was not necessarily a choice.

Hi friends… welcome to the Wild Side… I’m Steve Hall

More than a century ago outdoor adventure wasn’t always a choice…it was a way of life. And it wasn’t for recreation… in many cases, the ultimate goal was simply survival. At Bledsoe Creek State Park the history trail gives visitors a chance to explore the path taken by Native Americans and early settlers who were literally living off the land and sometimes dying to stay there.

Volunteers of the Middle Tennessee History Coalition hope to build additional permanent displays in addition to the cabin so visitors can follow the history trail year round.
