Small Pond Catfish

Bigger is always better, right? Not so fast, anglers. Joey Monteleone shows us how much fun you can have fishing on a small pond.

From show #2503. When it comes to fishing, Wild Side Guide Joey Monteleone is ready, any time, anywhere. We’ve seen Joey fish all kinds of water…rivers, creeks, and lakes, big and small. Today he tackles his smallest body of water yet, and shows us how much fun you can have fishing on a small pond.

Visit the TWRA website at www.tnwildlife.org to find all you need to know to make your day on the water—whether a lake, river, or stream — the best it can be. You can even purchase your license on line. You’ll also find information about the TWRA’s small pond management and fish stocking programs. The TWRA estimates there are close to 200 thousand private ponds and lakes in Tennessee.
