We have a lot of spring traditions here in Tennessee. Turkey hunting and fishing are two of the most popular. Wild Side Guide Joey Monteleone is a fan of both traditions, although if he’s totally honest, he’d admit to being partial to fishing. Today Joey heads out to the Stones River with a friend for a day of small water fishing that produces a big bass.
Joey always releases those big fish after he catches them because he realizes they’re a great natural resource that need to be protected. To learn more about the many fish in Tennessee and how you can catch them, visit the TWRA website at www.tnwildlife.com.
