Lost Loon Triathalon

If you love the outdoors, like to laugh and might enjoy a race with no clock, this race is for you!

If you are a very serious, competitive long distance runner, biker or canoeist, then this race may not be for you. On the other hand, if you love the outdoors, like to laugh and might enjoy a race with no clock, you’ll want to sign up for this. Wild Side Guide Terry Bulger takes us to the starting line of a family-friendly Tennessee triathlon where bizarre costumes are the norm and awards are given out not for speed but for the team who sings the most to the volunteers.

The Loon Race Triathlon is held at Long Hunter State Park and fills up every year in a matter of hours. Money raised from the event benefits the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association. To learn more, visit the official Lost Loon Triathlon website at http://lostloons.com/ From show 2406.
