Isaac Bode Skeet Fundraiser

Remembering a young man who lost his life to leukemia, family and friends come together for a good cause, raising money to help families fighting cancer.

When it comes to skeet shooting, you’ve got to be quick and you’ve got to be good. But most importantly you’ve just got to get in the game in order to take a shot at winning Crusher. It’s the most popular event underway each year at the Isaac Bode Memorial Skeet shoot. Wild Side Guide Annette Nole Hall takes us to Trousdale County to learn about the young man who inspired so much fun.

The skeet shoot raised money for SMILE, a non-profit group that helps provide for children in cancer treatment. If you would like to participate in the SMILE mission, log on to www.smile4isaac.org. There is a link for ways to help which gives a list of supplies needed by young patients and their families. In addition to the skeet shoot, the organization also hosts a bass tournament in the summer.
