Fort Loudoun State Park

History comes alive during the time of the French and Indian War. Follow our Wild Side crew to Fort Loudoun State Park for the annual Garrison Days.

This story begins with a big happy birthday to the King of England! While that sounds a bit unusual for our show, we are also celebrating the 265th anniversary of Fort Loudoun, which is now the setting of a Tennessee State Park .  The British Army established residence at Fort Loudon in 1756 and soon found that the challenges of the wilderness included few of the comforts of life back in England.  The fort is surrounded by natural beauty with water and woods that offer a variety of outdoor adventures.  We take you with us for the annual Garrison Days, when history comes alive from the days of the French and Indian War.
