Fishing for an Education

Wild Side Guide Ken Tucker takes us to McKenzie, TN, where Bethel University's bass team was defending a championship, and works to turn fishing knowledge into a career.

Every year students across the country receive financial help in the form of scholarships. While there are more types than we can list here, the most common are usually academic or athletic. Football, baseball, basketball, and golf are some of the sports that come to mind for those of an athletic nature.

But we’re about to add another to that list…bass fishing! Yes, that’s right, these days you can turn your knowledge of catching fish into knowledge that will catch a career. Wild Side Guide Ken Tucker takes us to Bethel University in McKenzie, where the Wildcat Bass Team was preparing to defend a championship.
